This updated Village classic is truly charming with an ideal location. The house is furnished with original wallpaper antiques an ample library (please be good to it!) and contemporary amenities. The gently sloping backyard is great for playing games reading or grilling & entertaining friends on summer evenings. Just a short stroll to the center of the village where there are many restaurants and shops. The Chappy Ferry is nearby and the town dock - is always a hub of activity good for fishing or ice cream. Fuller St. beach is an excellent place to swim & sunbathe just a 10-minute walk. State & South Beaches are 10 minutes by car or bike. Perhaps the most compelling aspect of the location is Sheriff's Meadow nature preserve to the right of the front door. It's a leafy quiet place to walk or picnic with incredible views of Nantucket Sound. An ideal place for children with much to explore. A path winds around between Sheriff's and Eel ponds where the first owner of the house Oscar Pease is known to all as Ozzie - used to cut ice for the village.
